Delegated powers
I'm not sure what powers need to be delegated to this committee at the moment. There doesn't need to be delegation if the committee is just providing advice and recommendations to the Board; only if the committee is making decisions that would otherwise have been made by the full board. Thanks. Mike Peel (talk) 20:26, 16 March 2013 (UTC)
- Yes, we should probably delete that bit. The only time I could think this would be relevant would be if the board of trustees wanted to allocate a budget for GovCom to commission independent audit or reports. In practice I think this would be over egging the charter, if GovCom ask for some reasonable expenses or paid consultancy/legal advice, the Board would start to look a bit daft if it quibbled for very long. --Fæ (talk) 20:32, 16 March 2013 (UTC)
