Wikimedia UK trustees are required to have in-house induction, basic UK charity trustee training and consider further refresher courses each year. There are a number of local subsidised charity trustee courses available. In addition to external courses, Wikimedia UK plans trustee induction each year in-house as soon a possible after our AGM. This ensures that new trustees are familiar with their legal duties, understand their commitment to the [[Trustee Code of Conduct]] and the policies and values of Wikimedia UK.

Wikimedia UK trustees are given training opportunities related to their role as a trustee of a charitable organisation both at the start of their appointment to the Board and during their term as trustees. This page records the training that our current and past trustees have undertaken. This opportunities help to ensure that new trustees are familiar with their legal duties, understand their commitment to the Trustee Code of Conduct and the policies and values of Wikimedia UK.
