Workshop outline

Here is an outline, not set in stone, for the Wikidata workshop 24 October, to be held in the WMUK office. More details of the day will be posted.

First session

• Introduction
• Practical exercise
• Example application to a smaller Wikipedia
• Discussion around data

Break.

Second session

• Queries, front ends, applications

The assumption will be that those who attend have a Wikipedia account, and a basic familiarity with Wikipedia editing.

We shall start at 10.30 am, unless there is a definite request to start later. I shall be leading the session, with Andrew Gray.
