Wikimedia UK's Grants Committee was established at the 13 July 2013 Board Meeting after a proposal from Katie Chan. The committee's role is to scrutinise all incoming grant requests, and to then to advise the Chief Executive on whether or not they should be accepted.
The current committee members are:
- Christopher Cooper
- tbc (Board liaison)
- Theresa Knott
- Hera Hussein
- Raya Sharbain
Richard Nevell is also supporting the work of the group.
