Rename?

I think this just refers to donors, so perhaps change supporter to donor in the pagename? Thanks. Mike Peel (talk) 19:23, 24 February 2014 (UTC)

If its all the same, this mirrors the language the FRSB use and so I'd rather leave it. If someone who never donated wanted to raise a concern about fundraising practice this would apply to them the same, so actually the broader definition is ok? Having said that I take your point that it may not be clear enough it *only* applies to fundraising practice so I could tweak along those lines? Thanks for help :-) Katherine Bavage (WMUK) (talk) 21:13, 24 February 2014 (UTC)
Thanks for making the tweaks. :-) I guess the terminology depends on the expectations of those looking for the document - I would think of a 'supporter' being someone that supports WMUK beyond (or instead of) just money, but I guess others would view this differently, particularly for traditional charities. Perhaps 'fundraising complaint procedure' be more universally clear? Also, having 'Wikimedia UK' in the title is a bit redundant here. Thanks. Mike Peel (talk) 21:37, 24 February 2014 (UTC)
I think putting the applicability section at the top would help. That way someone who ended up here would quickly see whether it was relevant to the complaint they want to make or not. Perhaps it would be worth having a page at Complaints or Complaint procedures or something that acted as an index - if your complaint is about fundraising see X, if your complaint is about HR issues see Y, if your complaint is about leaflets see Z, etc. This page and others would then link back to that.
