It might be a good idea to leave the main page unprotected until the site has existed long enough for people to be autoconfirmed! I can't edit the main page now... --Tango 23:37, 26 January 2009 (UTC)

Ok, Mike's unprotected it already, nevermind! --Tango 23:38, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
I concur, and have unprotected it...although it shouldn't really be edited much anyway until we import the page... Mike Peel 23:38, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
OK I thought I only stopped unregistered users from editing it, which should have meant Tango'd be fine. --Cfp 23:40, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
Unregistered and those not yet autoconfirmed. Which means every non-admin. Majorly 23:42, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
Indeed - autoconfirmation takes a few days (and maybe a few edits, I can't remember what the default is). --Tango 23:46, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
Aha. And now I know. Do we want to make Tango and Majorly syspops anyway? It'd probably make sense. --Cfp 23:49, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
I've started a discussion at the Water cooler regarding user rights - please weigh in there. --Tango 23:51, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
