Surely this page should be called "WLM awards ceremony and community Χmas party", rather than "WLM awards ceremony and community Xmas party". Bonus points to those of you who spot the difference between the two. Richard Symonds (WMUK) (talk) 13:13, 21 November 2013 (UTC)

I claim my bonus points, but disagree. The present title, in my opinion, is more inclusive than your suggested one as it does not stress the religious aspect. I have no idea how widely held my opinion is though. Thryduulf (talk: local | en.wp | en.wikt) 13:51, 21 November 2013 (UTC)
I thought the "X" in "Xmas" was a variable, enabling each individual to interpret the nature of the festival themselves.Leutha (talk) 14:19, 21 November 2013 (UTC)
I don't understand the difference - care to explain? Mike Peel (talk) 20:34, 30 November 2013 (UTC)
One is Chi (letter), and the other is the letter X that we all know and love. In this font they are identical, and you can only tell them apart by copying and pasting the letter somewhere (for example, into Google). This makes for an extremely nerdy and pedantic "joke" on my part. I apologise unreservedly! Richard Symonds (WMUK) (talk) 20:57, 30 November 2013 (UTC)
Ah. :-) I'm more used to seeing it written χ than Χ! Thanks. Mike Peel (talk) 14:35, 1 December 2013 (UTC)
