Breast Cancer Care editing session
Wikimedia UK is teaming up with the charity Breast Cancer Care to deliver a training session on how to edit Wikipedia. There will also be an editing session which will focus on improving several key articles relating to breast cancer.
The session is provisionally booked to take place from 2pm-5pm on Tuesday 22 October in London. The reason for this scheduling is to coincide with Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an annual campaign designed to raise awareness and understanding of the condition.
The session will train six Breast Cancer Care staff about how Wikipedia works and how to edit. There will also be access to many reference materials such as publications and research papers.

What to bring
Wikimedia UK will be providing some laptops on the day and some printed materials, such as cheat sheets and booklets. Breast Cancer Care will be providing access to source and reference materials. Trainers can bring their own laptops if they wish.
