WMUK wiki migration

Wikimedia UK's wiki will be migrated from the Wikimedia Foundation's datacenter to the Wikimedia UK's one.

What about me?

Activate "Enable email from other users" in your user profile now! That we get a chance to communicate to you your new password. To do this:

1. Log in to your account
2. Click 'Preferences' (or 'Dewisiadau') in the top-right of the page
3. Near the bottom of the page, enter your email address (if not already entered)
4. Select the check box marked 'Enable e-mail from other users' (or 'Galluogi e-bost oddi wrth ddefnyddwyr eraill')
5. Save your preferences by clicking on the button at the bottom of the screen.

What will the impact be?

• The wiki will be in read-only mode for a few hours
• User will lose (and thus have to reset) their account configuration; this includes:

• watch lists
• account configuration
• email and password

When?

Last friday of September 2013: the 27th, 8PM UTC.
