EduWiki Conference 2013/Event ideas
Call for Editathon and/or Hackathon ideas at EduWiki 2013
The EduWiki Conference 2013 will be held in Cardiff on 1-2 November. This is the second edition of this conference organised by WMUK with a focus on the education sector.
In an effort to provide a wider range of activities over the weekend of the conference, we are now calling for ideas for possible editathons and/or hackathons to take place in Cardiff during or immediately after the conference. Some ideas that would be very welcome include:
- a high-profile cultural institution (i.e. a GLAM event)
- updating Cardiff pages on Wikivoyage and/or Wikipedia
- the Doctor Who experience in Cardiff Bay
- hacking the Mediawiki education-related extensions, such as this or this
