Wikimedia UK trustees are required to have in-house induction, basic UK charity trustee training and consider further refresher courses each year. There are a number of local subsidised charity trustee courses available. In addition to external courses, Wikimedia UK plans trustee induction each year in-house as soon a possible after our AGM. This ensures that new trustees are familiar with their legal duties, understand their commitment to the Trustee Code of Conduct and the policies and values of Wikimedia UK.

The register below is a summary of formal training that trustees have received. Note that some trustees are involved with other charities and have past training, or non-WMUK training, that is not registered here but the charity benefits from.
