Parkinson's UK Wikipedia training

A one-day, free, hands-on training event for Parkinson's UK staff in improving Wikipedia, arranged in cooperation with Wikimedia UK. Attendees are asked to bring their own laptops and to register a user account on Wikipedia in advance. This is a quick procedure that does not need any detailed personal information; although it is advisable to give an email address, to enable the retrieval of forgotten passwords!
Attendees
If you have a laptop, please bring it in with you.
It will also help if you create an editing account at Wikipedia before you come in on Thursday. If you haven't yet created an account, please go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page and click 'Create an account' at the top right corner. If you need help you can wait till the workshop.

All trainers will need to have an account created with the university to access the wireless network - Daria is looking after this.
Expenses will be reimbursed for the trainers, lunch is provided by the venue
- - Trainees will be asked to bring a laptop and also create a Wikipedia account in advance, but some may not do so. Daria will circulate an email to all participants about a week before the event.
