I am the Director of Research at the Hull University of Hull's School of Arts and New Media in Scarborough, UK, where I've been lecturing on performance and creative technologies since 2004. Before that I was based in New York City for many years, where I was associated primarily with New York University (eventually writing a book about the Franklin Furnace Archive from my time there) but also Adelphi University and Touro College. I also have various connections with the Mediterranean island nation of Malta and the University of Malta.
