Other Ways to Give

Donate via Text

You can donate via text message with no extra fees. Just text WIKI11 £10 to 70070 to make a £10 donation. If you'd prefer to give another amount you can simply replace £10 with £1, £2, £3, £4 or £5. You are not charged for sending the text and no fees are deducted from your donation. The text donation service is provided by JustTextGiving, please see their website for more details.

Cheques

Cheques should be payable to

Wiki UK Ltd.

You can send them to us by writing FREEPOST WIKIPEDIA on an envelope. There's no need for a stamp. However, you should write your contact details (even just an email address) on the back so that we can distinguish your donation from others on our database.

Remember us in your Will

Gifts in your Will to charities like Wikimedia UK are exempt from Inheritance Tax. From 6 April 2012, leaving 10% or more of your estate to charity will also mean that your whole estate benefits from a reduced level of Inheritance Tax. Gift Aid

Gifts made to Wikimedia UK since 3 November 2011 are eligible for Gift Aid, which means that we can reclaim an extra 25% of your donation. You can make a Gift Aid declaration using our online form. Alternatively, you can download and print off a standard Gift Aid form and post it to us at the above address.

Payroll Giving

If your employer operates a Payroll Giving scheme, you can make a regular, tax-efficient donation to Wikimedia UK via your payslip. Ask your payroll or HR department for a Payroll Giving Mandate. You can find out more about Payroll Giving here at www.tax-effective-giving.org.uk

If you prefer to make a donation via CAF, please instruct CAF to make a donation to Wiki UK Ltd, charity registration number 1144513, and they will pass your donation on to us.
