- The 49th London Meetup was held at Penderel's Oak Pub, Holborn, London. The final candidates for the Wikimedia UK Chief Executive position were in attendance.
- Richard Symonds, known as Chase me ladies, I'm the Cavalry on Wikipedia, joined Wikimedia UK as an Office Administrator, until mid-January
