Deryck Chan is a founding member of Wikimedia Hong Kong. He moved to England in 2007, began attended London meetups in 2009 and joined Wikimedia UK in 2010.

He studied at Magdalene College, Cambridge and presided w:Wikipedia:Cambridge University Wikipedia Society. He currently works as a civil engineer and a regular attendee of Cambridge Wikimedia meetups.
