The nearest airport to Leicester is East Midlands Airport, with direct flights to more than 90 destinations in 28 countries. The Leicester Skylink bus service operates a frequent service connecting East Midlands Airport with Leicester St Margaret's Bus Station. There is also a taxi rank outside St Margaret's. Direct train service is operated by the East Midlands Trains from East Midlands Parkway station.

The Airport has a train station at Birmingham International with indirect rail services to Leicester. There is also a coach service (one change).
There are frequent train services from Luton Airport to Leicester (via Luton Aiport Parkway). Coach services also run from the airport.
The coach service arrives in Leicester at St. Margarets Bus Station.
