Keynote presentation followed by Q&A panel - BP Theatre, British Museum 18:45.

Keynote presentation by Sue Gardner - executive director, Wikimedia Foundation.
Day two will focus on the practical aspects of collaboration:
- GLAM editing (e.g Conflict of Interest, external linking)
- Multimedia partnership projects (e.g. metadata and Wikimedia commons)
- Small group editing workshops

Purpose
|
Representatives from the UK and European cultural sector came together with representatives from the Wikimedia community for a two-way dialogue to determine how to use the two communities' strengths to a mutual advantage.
- why and how cultural institutions could work with Wikimedia projects; and
- what Wikimedia needs to do to make collaboration easier and more effective.
This event is relevant to representatives of the licensing, web, sales, and education departments in cultural instutions. |
