Activities to report
- Phone calls
- 15 Dec: call from an organisation offering credit card processing, for the fundraiser. They will follow up with more details by email.
- 16 Dec: call from an organisation selling IT equipment. Was under the impression that we had a large number of employees/IT requirements. Explained Wikimedia's odd situation. They will follow up by email.
- Discussion items
- Giving User:Rock_drum admin rights
- WMIL's Wikipostcard: has one been requested?
- Events
- Set up the page at Editathon, British Library
- Planning for Cancer Research UK Academy is progressing - now have candidate dates (31 Jan and 31 March).
- Random other things
Invoice for in-person board meeting room needs to be paid (Tom's doing this already).- £320 cash from GLAM-WIKI registration fees has been paid into the WMUK bank account.
- Catch-up chapters report drafted; awaiting approval. See Newsletter/2010Catchup.
- Report on the kick-start grant: Prepared on the office wiki, pending completion/approval.

Outstanding actions
- MP to respond to Simple English Wikipedia research proposal asking for further information.
- MP to email internal-l with problem + current solution with the WMUK logo on the Paypal donation page not being on a secure server, and to implement an SSL certificate if that is the best way forward.
- MP to put together a summary on GLAM-WIKI for the next board meeting: survey results, what went well, what could have been done better.
- MP to ask the British Library re: 10th anniversary event how many people can be accommodated, and about the available internet connection.
