Phone calls

• 6 Oct: phone call from BBC Current Affairs researching information on suicide methods that is available on Wikipedia. Pointed towards discussion pages and history of the articles to look for discussion about the amount of information that is available.
• 6 Oct: phone call from the International Anti-Corruption Academy - see wikipedia:Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA) - asking for help in getting their article on Wikipedia. Explained Wikipedia basics, why he is having a problem getting this article on Wikipedia, and suggested that they follow up the discussion on-wiki with the editor that has responded to their request.
• 19 Oct: phone call from National Film and Television School asking for a live interview. Follow-up by email.
• 20 Oct: returned call to BBC World Service about using Wikipedia in a documentary (in a google search window, as part of a montage introducing the program) on behalf of the Foundation.
• 27 Oct: talked with Arfon Smith about potential links between oldweather and wikisource.
• 29 Oct: phone call from a BLP with issues with their biography.

• MP to send SV a link to CC-BY-SA attribution in place on Wikipedia.
• MP to ask Liam Wyatt to send WMUK an invoice for the first part of his contract.
• MP to ask Liam regarding publicising GLAM-WIKI - Culture24, MLA, etc. AT wishes the plan to be clarified, and asked about WMUK’s part in publicity.
• MP to write the first draft of the request to the WMF for sponsorship of GLAM-WIKI.
• MP to follow up with TD about the new fundraising website and the timeline for making the modifications.
• MP, SV, CM to draft press releases for fundraiser launch and milestones
• MP to explore a tool/bot to distribute newsletters on-wiki via user pages Rock Drum has suggested using the global message delivery bot
