Motion to set the membership fees for the forthcoming year
Whereas, membership is currently restricted to natural people.
Whereas, corporations as members could significantly assist us further our goals.


PROPOSED BY: Board
This meeting resolves to create a new class of members called Corporate Members. The existing class of members will henceforth be
called Individual Members. Any legal person may apply to become a Corporate Member and, if accepted by the board, such a member will
have the same rights and obligations as an Individual Member except that each Corporate Member shall have two votes where each Individual Member has one.

Whereas, the Membership Rules require the membership fees to be reviewed by each AGM.
Whereas, the charity's successful fundraiser has significantly reduced the charity's reliance of membership fees to fund its operations.


Special motion to create a corporate membership level within the chapter. This is something that is done by many charities.
This meeting resolves to set the fee for all Individual Members at £5 per year.

Whereas, this meeting has created a new class of membership for Corporate Members.
Ordinary Resolution to amend the [[Membership/Rules|Membership Rules]] to specify that the board can waive membership fees in individual cases as it feels appropriate
Whereas, Corporate Members usually have significantly more funds available than Individual Members.

Whereas, the Board of Trustees have all resigned effective at the end of this meeting, as required by the Articles of Association.
Whereas, the Election Rules require an election of board members at this meeting.


STATUS: Ordinary Resolution?
This meeting resolves to hold an election in accordance with the Election Rules and the appoint the elected candidates as members of the Board of Trustees for the next year.
