I'm not sure your premise is quite accurate as, if I remember rightly, my original platform back in 2013 was based mostly on my experience of governance and strategy as well as my knowledge of copyright law. :Anyway, to answer your question, I am very much aware that my workload as chair, particularly in the early days, has severely impacted my personal editing. And family issues over the last 12 months (the death of my father and the long-term serious illness of my mother) has made it impossible for me to be actively involved on more than an occasional basis. Nevertheless, a lack of editing doesn't mean a lack of interest, and I have always made it a point to keep up with recent community developments by checking my watchlists at least twice a week and subscribing to (and actually reading!) the main community mailing lists including Wikimedia-l, WikimediaUK-l, Commons-l and OTRS, as well as a variety of more specialist lists relating to Wikimedia public policy, The Chapters' list, the Chairs’ list, Wiki Research and several others. - Hi Derek, thank you for your question.
