I'm currently particularly interested in 3 major things:

  1. Onboarding new volunteers, e.g. through building on File:Five ways.pdf (my comments on the nice original flyer
    Wikimedia UK volunteer flyer
By Katie Chan (Own work) [CC-BY-SA-3.0 (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0) or CC-BY-SA-3.0 (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0)], via Wikimedia Commons ) and Volunteer_jobs#If_you_have_two_hours
  2. How we improve the visibility and offering of projects both in the sense of:
    1. comms, measuring impact and just generally helping people understand what we do. E.g. I'm interested in the ideas on UK monitoring programme and Magnus' tool here toollabs:wikidata-todo/country_stats.php, but also just making sure there's a page about projects we run, and how someone else might do something similar - making sure the things we have done are visible (e.g. at the moment the blog isn't searchable except externally!)
    2. and in terms of building projects, having a space to bat ideas around, etc. (ideally a space new volunteers might find and think 'oh, I could help with that!') e.g. whether some sort of Idea lab would work, and if committees could engage with it meta:Grants:IdeaLab/Idea_lab_idea_lab
