Context
Wikimedia UK is organising this event to bring together interested stakeholders to consider our Volunteer Strategy. The intention is to see in what ways we can develop the organisation by creating new approach to project-based volunteering.

Practical details
Travel and parking
Wikimedia UK is happy to pay all reasonable travel expenses for volunteers attending this event. We can also pay for accomodation where this need but please get in touch first (fabian.tompsett(at)wikimedia.org.uk).
The venue is near New Street Station and Snow Hill station, and short walk from Moor Street station.
Parking
The nearest carpark is Paradise Circus.
Wikimedia will pay for parking and car travel at HMRC rates: See here.

Wi-Fi
The venue has free Wi-Fi, albeit unsecured. It requires signup, but it is possible to give a pseudonym and dummy email address. If doing the latter, please use [something]@example.com
