There is no registration fee for the events leading to the main Wikimania event but you will be responsible for any necessary transportation or lodging expenses for any of these events. About the event
The Future of Education Workshop is a two-day meeting to create sessions for an education pre-conference at Wikimania 2014, happening simultaneously with the Hackathon. The education pre-conference will bring instructors, librarians, educational technologists, and others up to speed on what's happening with Wikipedia and education -- and how they can participate and be inspired by the Future of Education sessions during Wikimania.
