This is a bot operated by User:Jarry1250 to import the Wikimedia wikis' global block list to this wiki.

What does that mean?

WMF Volunteers spending a great deal of time fighting vandalism, including the blocking of individual IP addresses and ranges of IP address. To centralise this work, the Wikimedia Foundation has create a central database with a very low false positive rate. The bot draws upon that database and uses it to combat the increasing level of spam on this wiki.

But I'm not a vandal!

If you've been unpexectedly caught up in a block, simply email infoatwikimedia.org.uk, quoting your IP address (the number that appears at the top of Special:MyPage, e.g. 192.102.1.1), and explaining what you were trying to do.

If you need an urgent response, try contacting irc:wikimedia-uk connect (if you are unfamiliar with the IRC chatroom format, use the green "connect" link). A response may not be immediate outside of office hours but all requests will be answered. Over 6 million IP addresses will eventually be blocked under this program, so your request will be treated in good faith. Administrators should be able to reverse the block, or add you to the IP Block Exemption group, if this has been configured.
