On Sunday there is a free car park on the high street ([http://en.parkopedia.co.uk/parking/carpark/king_street/ln5/lincoln/ King Street/Chaplin Street]) which is '''free''' on Sundays. Note that because of turning restrictions on the high street it can be confusing to get to!

Lincoln is located in the East Midlands of England, approximately 40 miles north-east of Nottingham, 50 miles east of Sheffield and 140 miles north of London.

By train

Lincoln Central Station

Lincoln Central station has regular services to Nottingham, Sheffield, and Newark North Gate. Attendees arriving from outside the East Midlands will likely need to change trains at one of these locations. Nottingham is served by the Midland Main Line a well as services to Liverpool, Manchester, Sheffield, Derby, Birmingham, Peterborough, Ely, and Norwich; Sheffield is also served by long-distance CrossCountry services and services from across Yorkshire; Newark North Gate is served by the East Coast Main Line, which is the fastest route from Lincoln to London.

The venue is a short walk from Lincoln Central.

By road

The venue is located on Monks Road, Lincoln LN2 5HQ.

The main roads into Lincoln are the A15 (Hull to Peterborough) and the A57 (Liverpool to Lincoln via Manchester). For attendees coming from the south and west, the A46 will take you to the A1 at Newark or the M1 at junction 21A.

Parking

If you need to park in the city (for example, if you are staying on the outskirts) then there are a few options. Note that Lincoln can be quite expensive, expect to play ~£5 for a day parking.

There is limited parking available at the venue during the conference. This may not be available after hours.

Parking at the Holiday Inn Express is £5/night; rates at other hotels may vary.
