Organisational Membership — Online application form — Get involved — Application process — Membership Rules — Newsletter — Help |
In order to fully function as a chapter, and actually do things, we need members. So, how do we get them?
Ideas:
- Take membership application forms along to wikimeets
- Send a message to anyone that's UK-based on their en.wp user talk pages
- Chase people with a previous involvement with WMUK
- Contact people that expressed an interest but haven't joined yet including those on these lists
- Article in Signpost?
- Send message around the facebook group
- Done via an invitation to this event AndrewRT 12:12, 15 March 2009 (UTC)
- Create a welcome template for all people who create a user account here, encouraging them to join
- Publicise in newsletter
- Email invitation on email list
- Prominant invitation on uk.wikimedia.org homepage
- Agree a target number of people by a certain date (e.g. AGM) to focus efforts
- Add your idea here
