There's a lot of similarities with the Campus Ambassador roles here that can probably be learnt from, see [[:outreach:Wikipedia Campus Ambassador]]. It's not quite the same, though, as a WiR could be more higher-level/strategic rather than hands-on... Mention the possibility of language students translating articles as a real life exercise using contemporary language and being open to external critical scrutiny form readers and editors. How much more motivating for the students (and staff) to be contributing to world's knowledge.
