Wikipedia is a global community of editors, readers, and developers, all working together to make the sum of human knowledge available to the world, for free. In only ten years, Wikipedia has become the most important collaboration of knowledge sharing in human history.
Wikimedia UK is a charity, independent from the US-based Wikimedia Foundation. We promote open knowledge in the UK and support Wikimedians in their work. If you believe in making education and knowledge free, and you love what you do and want to bring your skills and experience to our organisation, check out the current openings below.

About Wikimedia UK
Wikimedia UK is the Wikimedia chapter covering the United Kingdom. We exist to help collect, develop and distribute freely licensed knowledge (and other educational, cultural and historic material). We do this by bringing the Wikimedia community in the UK together, and by building links with UK-based cultural institutions, universities, charities and other bodies. We also represent UK-based Wikimedians to the Wikimedia Foundation and the global Wikimedia movement.
