Institute of Physics Workshop

As part of a working relationship between Wikimedia UK and the Institute of Physics, a Wikipedia workshop will be run for IoP members, based on the Cancer Research UK Workshop run earlier in the year. This will aim for a dozen attendees and four or five Wikimedia volunteers. The workshop will take place at the IoP premises in central London (directions to follow) with a tentative date of Friday 2 September 2011.

Programme

Volunteers should aim to be at the venue at 9.30. The official start is 10am.

• Introductions
• Overview presentation (Martin Poulter)
• Work through training pages
• Break for lunch
• Attendees work on articles of interest, with in-person help from Wikimedians
• Afternoon coffee break + informal quick presentation of some other things that are useful to know (Martin)
• Close at 4pm
