Current development plan
See Virtual Learning Environment/Wikimania demo for details and project management in the short term for the VLE. See Wikisoba project for work in the direction of non-Moodle options with related functionality, in particular the Wikisoba tool for quizzes http://tools.wmflabs.org/wikisoba/ (the "production" version of http://tools.wmflabs.org/magnustools/wikisoba.html) authored by Magnus Manske.
Development January to March 2014
From January 2014, a three-month plan was implemented and written up, and an updated VLE was online by the end of March. This Moodle site has quizzes for most lessons (about 80% of 81); it does not yet have any of the features for integration with MediaWiki that have been under consideration.
Review
From April to June 2014 the VLE was in beta feedback: see Virtual Learning Environment/Beta feedback for some of the comments.
