Welcome to the Wikimedia UK press page. This page is intended to be a first port of call for journalists and reporters with an interest in the work of the charity.

Wikimedia UK is the Wikimedia chapter covering the United Kingdom. We are a charity that supports and promotes Wikimedia projects, such as Wikipedia. We also exist to help collect, develop and distribute freely licensed knowledge (and other educational, cultural and historic material).
