In 2012, I was the first Chair of the Wikimedia Chapters Association and I co-founded the Wikimedia LGBT group the same year. Until 2013, I was the only openly gay trustee for Wikimedia UK and was voted in with LGBT projects as part of my stated reasons for becoming a trustee.
On the Wikimedia Projects I am best known for making several million edits on Wikimedia Commons both with more than 160,000 uploaded images and audio files and making more than 3,000,000 edits under my main account and my bot account, mostly GLAM project related volunteer work, with no funding.
