If you are interested in volunteering to assist Wikimedia UK, as a first step we suggest you join our mailing list and subscribe to our newsletter. You may also wish to become a member or support us financially.
The particular projects we are currently looking for help with include:
- Contact the project leader, Mike Peel, to find out how you can help.
- Also, sign up here so we can keep you informed.

Additionally, we have several other projects in an earlier stage of development. These projects would also greatly benefit from volunteers, so please consider signing up to help.
We are also interested in forming content access partnerships with museums, libraries and other such organisations. We would be extremely grateful if you would ask your local museum or library how we could help them release copies or photographs of their most important items under a free license and we will do our best to satisfy their requests. Please contact Tom Holden for more details, and to let us know how you get on with any approach - even if unsuccessful.
If there is something else you think we should be doing, first check if it has already been proposed here and if not feel free to suggest it here.
