:I think we want to get the name "Wikimedia UK" out there, so anyone speaking at such events should do so representing the chapter. In order to do that they need to be a member, I'd say. The board can waive the membership fee if necessary - one speaking engagement should be considered an in-kind donation sufficient to cover the membership fee, really.
