- Overview
During recent attempts to write some biographies of Lancastrians and also to improve articles about a number of buildings in the local area, I kept stumbling upon sources in the British Newspaper Archives, which I'm struggling to find elsewhere. I'm hoping to get a years subscription - which allows unlimited access to the archives for that period.
- Budget
£79.95 - 1 year subscription, unlimited page views.
- Timeline
365 days
- Expected outcomes
I should be able to improve the following existing articles
- Doom Bar
- Parsley Peel - my current project
- Sir Robert Peel, 1st Baronet - next project
- Richard Rennison
- New Brighton Tower
- North Pier, Blackpool
- New Brighton Pier
And that's just for starters, I'm not a "prolific" article writer, but I'm finding that writing Wikipedia articles keeps me sane against my other Wikipedia "duties", so you're helping keep a man's sanity too..
- Who I am
I'm Dave Craven, or w:en:User:Worm That Turned. I'm currently based in the North West UK and regularly attend Wiki-meetups in both Liverpool and Manchester. I'm a member of WMUK and active on the English Wikipedia, have a look at my userpage for more info.
