Membership fee
Hi Rock Drum. Sorry for the confusion - the membership fee used to be £12/£6, but we reduced it to £5 earlier this year. I've updated the about page accordingly. We look forward to having you as a member. :-) Thanks. Mike Peel 08:08, 23 September 2010 (UTC)

Staff userpage template
Hi. I like the look of the staff userpage template you've made, but the images don't work - most of the image is cut off. I'm not quite sure of the best way to fix it, though... perhaps the "contact me" section can be moved to go along the bottom of the page, making room for the image to go down the right hand side? --Tango (talk) 19:27, 9 March 2012 (UTC)
- Hi Tango, that problem only seems to occur on Daria's userpage. The images on Richard's and Jon's aren't cut off. :-/ Regards, Rock drum (talk • contribs) 10:30, 10 March 2012 (UTC)
Virtual Barnstar
Thanks RD for all the work you do tidying up my messes BUT the creation of a table for the Board meetings timetable was super marvellous or fab as the young people say. Jon Davies WMUK (talk) 16:59, 23 March 2012 (UTC)
Also thank you for making EDU-WIKI conference page looking absolutely great! Daria Cybulska (talk) 09:14, 30 March 2012 (UTC)
Election
Need to have a word with you about the election - we need to work out a way to allow candidates to be asked individual questions... Richard Symonds (talk) 23:04, 18 April 2012 (UTC)
EduWiki conference
Love what you've done with the navigation template. Thanks so much, MartinPoulter (talk) 15:07, 23 April 2012 (UTC)
Collapse styles
Hi, on :wmuk, the right code gismos to support collapse styles have not been implemented. If you are keen for this feature you'll have to drop a note with Mike. Cheers, --Fæ (talk) 16:20, 26 April 2012 (UTC)
- I'm not sure that even talking with Mike will do it - he controls the office, board and internal wikis, but not the uk wiki, which I believe is centrally controlled by the WMF. Richard Symonds (talk) 16:36, 26 April 2012 (UTC)
- I think this is "user" controllable, part of the css definitions. I haven't a clue how to go about this stuff. --Fæ (talk) 17:13, 26 April 2012 (UTC)
- If it's user controllable, then any admin here should be able to make the change. Otherwise, it may need a bug report filing. Either way, I don't think it would particularly need me. ;-) Thanks. Mike Peel (talk) 22:49, 26 April 2012 (UTC)

Missing link
Hi, the Commons link you added at http://uk.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Board&diff=23226&oldid=23225 does not exist. Maybe you were looking for an inter-wiki link to wikimania2012? --Fæ (talk) 17:51, 15 May 2012 (UTC)
- I did mean Commons, I just made a mistake with the link. Now fixed :-) Rock drum (talk • contribs) 17:53, 15 May 2012 (UTC)
Glamcamp
Hey rock drum,
Like the layout on the glamcamp page but it makes it almost impossible for people to add their names. Two suggestions for this and future layouts like this is to either a) template the whole layout, putting media wiki template variables that allow people to put in their names simply (I would say that this is the best option) b) insert a seperate template for people to put their names with an edit button next to where their names go (probably the least desirable option). Always remember, most people on wiki arn't used to having to work through HTML/Mediawiki template markup.
As a general note for you, I really suggest you having a look at using css for stuff like this. It allows you to seperate and template it all off leaving the page significantly cleaner and a little more accessible for less technically proficient people.
Hope all this helps Seddon (talk) 14:32, 1 June 2012 (UTC)
