Have we had any discussions with the WMF since the last fundraiser about how they feel we are doing against the criteria in the Haifa letter? While the WMF board has agreed to allow us to fundraise, it is conditional on us convincing Sue (probably via Barry) that we meet the criteria. It would be worth starting discussions now, if they haven't already started, so that we can make sure we have all the evidence she'll want (I'm confident that we do meet the criteria, but we need to be able to prove it to Sue's satisfaction). --Tango (talk) 11:07, 17 April 2012 (UTC)

Would an admin please write a paragraph about this year's translation of the fundraiser for Wikimedia UK on the 2012 fundraiser page? You had a paragraph on this on last year's fundraiser page and a sub-page containing the items for translations. If you are testing on cy.wp, for example, as well as enwp, it would be good to have the WMUK specific items for translation (if there are any new items) as soon as possible so that they are available for deployment during your tests. The first deadline for translation on meta is 24/9/12. Lloffiwr (talk) 23:11, 20 September 2012 (UTC)

Word on the street is that we tend to rely on them a bit too much for technical support - we currently use the WMF's OTRS installation, for example, rather than our own. Other than that they are generally quite happy with our arrangements, but I'm sure Chris has more answers than me. Richard Symonds (talk) 11:32, 17 April 2012 (UTC)

Translation of fundraiser

Would an admin please write a paragraph about this year's translation of the fundraiser for Wikimedia UK on the 2012 fundraiser page? You had a paragraph on this on last year's fundraiser page and a sub-page containing the items for translations. If you are testing on cy.wp, for example, as well as enwp, it would be good to have the WMUK specific items for translation (if there are any new items) as soon as possible so that they are available for deployment during your tests. The first deadline for translation on meta is 24/9/12. Lloffiwr (talk) 23:11, 20 September 2012 (UTC)
