In a 2011 survey, the Wikimedia Foundation found that less than 10% of its contributors identify as female while only 15% of the English Wikipedia's biographies are about women. As a result, content is skewed by the lack of female participation.

To coincide with the Tate's [http://www.tate.org.uk/whats-on/tate-britain/exhibition/queer-british-art Queer British Art Exhibition], and in follow up to our successful Art & Feminism event at Tate Britain.  The theme would be increasing content around Queer British art and artists, with support and references provided by the gallery.
