Strategic Goal 1

Increase the quality and quantity of coverage of subjects that are currently underrepresented on Wikipedia and the other Wikimedia projects

Progress

• Working on detailed Wikidata for the Peniarth Manuscript collection (540 items), which now has UNESCO memory of the world status. Nearly ready.
• Working on Wikidata for Welsh publishers in preparation for Welsh Literature project - and successfully created NLW catalogue ID Wikidata property.
• Request made for High-Res image release of 600 framed artworks.
• Provided training for Translation student at Aberystwyth Uni who chose the optional Wikipedia translation assignment.

• Meeting with NLW marketing team about sharing more information about Working With Wikimedia through Library social media accounts and platforms.
• Presentation about GLAM wiki collaboration at Journées Wikimedia Culture et Numérique 2019 in Paris
