Workshop outline

Here is an outline, not set in stone, for the Wikidata workshop 24 October, to be held in the WMUK office basement 10.30 am to 4 pm.

First session

• Introduction
• Practical exercise
• Example application to a smaller Wikipedia
• Discussion around data

Break.

Second session

• Queries, front ends, applications. Other topics may be covered, depending on audience wished.

The assumption will be that those who attend have a Wikipedia account, and a basic familiarity with Wikipedia editing.

I shall be leading the session, with Andrew Gray. If you have already expressed an interest, you need to sign up below to confirm that you are coming: there is not unlimited space in the venue.
