This is a one-day event raising awareness of the educational possibilities of Wikipedia and sister projects, and developing Wikimedia UK's academic engagement. In light of the fact that Wikimania 2014 may be attracting potential delegates away from the EduWiki conference, this year's event is taking the form of a symposium bringing together all those in the Education sector who have benefited directly from WMUK support over the years. Aside from presentations about case studies from across the UK, this event also offers an opportunity for others across the education sector to attend workshops for Educators and/or Campus Ambassadors, providing support for the using Wikipedia as a teaching platform.
