This was a one-day event raising awareness of the educational possibilities of Wikipedia and sister projects, and developing Wikimedia UK's academic engagement. This year's event took the form of a symposium bringing together all those in the Education sector who have benefited directly from WMUK support over the years. Aside from presentations about case studies from across the UK, this event also offered an opportunity for others across the education sector to attend workshops for Educators and/or Campus Ambassadors, providing support for those using Wikipedia as a teaching platform.

EduWiki will also provide an opportunity for [[outreach:Wikipedia Education Collaborative|Wikipedia Education Collaborative]] members to follow-up on previous discussions, mainly through a full-day meeting on the day after EduWiki. However, Wikipedia Education Collaborative members will be present during EduWiki and will engage with delegates in a number of ways, which will be announced during the event.
The following three theme/s have been identified as possible ideas to develop for EduWiki 2014:
:* A showcase of WMUK-supported Education activities from the past 2+ years;
:* A workshop (or two) for educators who want to explore the use of Wikipedia in the University classroom through the courses extension (including a possible hackathon on the [[w:en:Special:SpecialPages#Education|WP Education extension]]) -- this will also include Campus [[Ambassadors]]' training;

EduWiki Conference 2014 was the third annual conference organised by Wikimedia UK focusing on Education projects.
