With increasing attention to new and different outlets for disseminating research, geographers are encouraged to enhance their ability to communicate complex geographical ideas to wider audiences, to help increase the amount of geographical content on Wikipedia, and to consider ways in which Wikipedia can be incorporated into research, teaching and learning. This workshop helps to address these goals.
Target audience for this event: PhD students, early-career researchers, tutors, lecturers and others interesting in using Wikipedia in their research and/or teaching. Primarily academic community, but all welcome
