The Royal Geographical Society is keen to nurture early-career researchers and their ability to communicate complex geographical ideas to a wider audience. RGS would also like to increase the amount of geographical content on Wikipedia. This workshop is designed to address these goals.
Target audience for this event: PhD students, early-career researchers, those interested in using Wikipedia in their research and/or teaching. Primarily academic community, but all welcome.

- 4pm to 4:45pm (approx.) – feedback & wrap-up, then group discussion about possible ‘uses’ of Wikipedia (as an editor; for teaching & assessment; for research/outputs)
