The pink ribbon is the international symbol of breast cancer awareness

Wikimedia UK is teaming up with the charity Breast Cancer Care to deliver a training session on how to edit Wikipedia. There will also be an editing session which will focus on improving several key articles relating to breast cancer.

The session is provisionally booked to take place from 2pm-5pm on Tuesday 22 October in London. The reason for this scheduling is to coincide with Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an annual campaign designed to raise awareness and understanding of the condition.
