Wikimedia UK was present at the WOMEN OF THE WORLD FESTIVAL at Southbank Centre, London, giving a short talk explaining why women should get involved with Wikipedia, and giving quick pointers as for how to get started [1]. This event coincided with the International Women's Day (8th March).
This seminar was open to all attendees of the festival.
Apart from the seminar, we have circulated an introductory leaflet to encourage as many people as possible to edit, and showing them where to start.
- Date: Saturday 9 March, 11:30-12:30
