-I am the Director of Research at the [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/University Hull University of Hull]'s School of Arts and New Media in Scarborough, UK, where I've been lecturing on performance and creative technologies since 2004. Before that I was based in New York City for many years, where I was associated primarily with New York University (eventually writing a book about the Franklin Furnace Archive from my time there) but also Adelphi University and Touro College. I also have various connections with the Mediterranean island nation of Malta and the University of Malta.
