Thursday 11th - Social events
For anyone keen to join us before the official beginning of the event on Friday, for networking and informal chat.
- 12:00-15:00 - Open house at the Wikimedia UK offices. Development House, 56-64 Leonard Street, London EC2A 4LT - Near Old Street tube.
- 14:00-16:00 A tour is available of Blythe House, one of the Science Museum stores including items from the Wellcome Trust collections; a conservation laboratory, a photographic studio, and a quarantine area where newly-arrived items are examined. Photography is welcome so please bring your camera. Please email Wikimedian@nhm.ac.uk (John Cummings) to see if spaces are still available.

Sign up here for a free tour of the Wellcome Collection, deadline passed183 Euston Road, NW1 2BE (max 30 people) [1]. - from 18:00 onwards we will have a group of people in the Euston Flyer, 83-87 Euston Road - a pub almost opposite the British Library. There are other venues nearby serving Chinese, Indian and Thai cuisine, so there is plenty of opportunity for people to form groups and have dinner nearby.
Friday 12th
On the Friday, we will be looking at the work Wikimedia and other organisations have done in partnership with cultural institutions, presenting case studies and discussing the benefits to both parties. The day will include two keynote speeches and a series of shorter talks, of up to an hour each, with 1 to 3 tracks running at different points.

Sunday 14th
Sunday is organised by THATCamp as a free unconference and hackathon, where the agenda and session topics are determined by attendees on the day. THATCamp London 2013 will be an unconference exploring the humanities and technology. We're hoping to see lots of exciting creations and thoughts around free-licensing, open access and the interface between humanities and technology.

Lunch and coffee will be provided for attendees on Friday and Saturday. On Sunday, there will be drinks but no food - attendees of the hackathon are encouraged to make their own arrangements for lunch, and take the opportunity for a break!

Parking
There is very limited parking in the area of British Library. However, there are parking bays for disabled visitors in both Midland Road and Ossulston Street and for car parks nearest to the British Library. You might be able to find some parking details here.
